The following pages are a short pictoral story of our project to build our own house
The story began with a visit to an Exhibition in Milton Keynes UK in 1982. The event was put together to show the latest innovations in individual homes and self build.
Although this is not an exhaustive study of the whole project, we have put this together at the request of many friends who wanted to see what had been done. So far the whole experience has been without many of the traumas that you expect with a project of this nature. The lessons we have learnt are, that you can never do enough planning and that managing cash flow helps everyone involved to stay sane.
